the kind of person I have become
after breakfast we struggle
to say something meaningful
but remain silent
as back to back we record
the small pain of living
how easy it would be to
reconnect, fall back into old habits
but our cups are full of vinegar
our terminals rusted
and so we remain
back to back
writing emails to other places
you striking keys deliberately
